Ernie Chattin Memorial Invitational

Ashland Athletic Complex

Coaches: 

        This is your invitation to the 3rd annual Ernie Chattin Memorial at Ashland Athletic Complex on the campus of Paul G. Blazer High School.  Our track complex features an 8-lane rubberized track with a legal pole vault pit.  We have brand new locker/bathrooms and concession stand areas.  All Kentucky high school track and field events will take place.  Please refer to the meet schedule below.

 

Entry Fees and Entries:

Team Fee          $50  (boys and girls separate)

Individual Fee    $8 per athlete

Please list accurate times/performances for your athletes and relays.

The entry deadline is 3:00 pm  May 1st, 2006.   Entries can be emailed/mailed/faxed to the addresses provided on the entry forms. Heats and lane assignments will be based on entries as of this deadline.

 

Meet T-Shirts:

Short-sleeve meet t-shirts will be on sale the day of the meet for $10.  Meet t-shirts will include the names of all schools competing.

 

Admission:

Adults $4           Students $2

Concessions and bathrooms will be available.

 

Amenities:

There will be a coaches lunch provided.  Each head coach entering a team will receive a meet t-shirt.

 

Awards:

Relay and event winners will receive a trophy.  Second and third place in each event will receive a medal.  Fourth thru Eighth place will receive a ribbon.

 

Team trophies will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams.  A combined team award will be given to the highest point total accumulated by boys and girls teams from the same school.

 

The Ernie Chattin Memorial Award will be given to the individual with the most outstanding performance.
