Former Berkeley Springs athlete Tony Belt continues to excel in his Freshman season at the University of Louisville. At the recently held Big East Championships, Belt won both the High Jump and the Long Jump, and finished 2nd in the Triple Jump, earning 28 points for his team and earning him the title of Outstanding Male Field Athlete for the meet.

The Long Jump performance of 25'8.25 set a new school record, and his High Jump performance of 7'2.50 set a new standard for the Big East Championship meet breaking a record that had stood since 1982.
