On Saturday, April 23, St. Albans High School will host the SA Invitational Track Meet at Laidley Field. In conjunction with this meet, we would like to announce the 1st annual RED DRAGON OPEN MILE. This event is open to any participant who is not currently in high school or eligible to compete for the WVSSAC. We will hold the Red Dragon Mile during the lunch break of the high school meet. If you have ever run at Laidley Field, you know that it is a truly unique experience. We encourage the participation of ANYONE who is interested in challenging themselves or the competition in one of the premier track and field venues and with the most enthusiastic spectators in the state of West Virginia. We would like to extend a special invitation to any collegiate/post-collegiate runners, male or female, who are interested in putting together an elite field for fast times.
