I am trying to get the word out early about open dates for the upcoming 2003 track season. We here at Jefferson High School will be dedicating our new facility this spring complete with new eight lane all weather surface and new press box. We are also looking to schedule at least two large invitational meets. One will be a Memorial event due to the fact that this summer (July 02) we lost two of our former male track athletes in a traffic accident, Carlton Wilcox and Terry Walker. We wish to honor these two young men with an invitational track meet. Any information about open dates would be greatly appreciated.
