Dear Junior High/Middle School Track Coach:

Park Middle School would like to announce the Third Annual Dairy Queen - Park Middle School Track Meet. It will be an open division meet for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls. The meet will be limited to 20 boys teams and 20 girls teams. Important information concerning the meet can be found below.

Date: Saturday, April 28, 2001
Place: Wheeling Park High School
Time:Field events begin at 9:00 AM; Track Events at 9:30 AM

Entry into Meet: Entry is limited to the first 20 teams we receive postcards from. However, we will give special consideration to teams who participated last year.

Entry Information: We will send entry information to the first 20 teams responding no later than April 13, 2001. Meet entry information will beu due (in Park's hands) one week prior to the meet date, or by Saturday, April 21, 2001.

Events Contested and Order: Contact Coach Bernie Dolan.

Cost of Entry: The cost to enter the meet will be $20 for one team, or $30 if enterning both a boys and a girls team.

Event Maximums: If more than 32 individuals (with 20 teams a possibility of 40 individuals exists) are entered in an event run entirely in lanes (such as the 100 meter dash) we will automatically enter all individuals in the event. On meet day, we will run as many heats (up to five) as needed. We will take at least the winner of each heat to the finals, and the next best three times from all the heats. If there are 32 runners or less in the race, we will take the top two runners from each heat to the finals.
