West Virginia team to Beijing, China

June 12th - June 21st, 2000

WHAT:
A ten day trip to Mainland China. We will fly to Beijing, the capital city of China. You will have a competition against teams from local Chinese schools. Our days will be filled with seeing some of the world's most fascinating sights. You will actually walk on THE GREAT WALL, as well as stand in Tiananmen Square, the site of the student revolt in 1989. The Forbidden City and The Emperor's Palace are also "must sees". We will also visit the Children's Palace. This is a school for gifted children. These children will perform song, dance, orchestra, and art, for us. You will surely remember these children when you are old and gray. We will visit the world's largest Hard Rock Cafe right in downtown Beijing! This trip is something you will remember all your life.
