2026 John Marshall High School XC Invitational

Date: September 5, 2026

Location: Grand Vue Park 250 Trail Drive Moundsville, WV 26041

Start and finish are near the Red Barn Ice Cream Shop.

Packet pickup and coaches meeting will take place near the starting line.

Parking: Located near the Barn and the Golf Club House. Volunteers will be directing traffic to the designated parking areas.

Concessions and t-shirts will be located near the start/finish lines.

Porta Johns will also be provided near the start/finish lines.

Event Times 7:00AM Course opens for walkthrough.

8:30AM High School Girls

9:10AM High School Boys

9:50AM Elementary Kids Fun Run $5.00 entry per runner (Field behind banquet hall)

10:15AM 5K fun Run for All Ages $15.00 per runner (Awards: top 5 Females & top 5 Males)

10:20AM High School Awards (After Open 5K begins)

11:00AM Middle School Girls

11:30AM Middle School Boys

12:15PM Middle School Awards

There will be no separate JV races. All runners will run together, with the top 7 for each team counting toward team scoring.

Entries Due No later than 11:00PM on Monday August 31, 2026

Entry Fees High School $100 per school (Both Boys AND Girls teams), or $50 per team (Boys OR Girls team), or $10 per individual athlete

Middle School $75 per school (Both Boys AND Girls teams), or $40 per school (Boys OR Girls team), or $8 per individual athlete

Course: The races are held at Grand Vue Park, and the start/finish line is near the Red Barn and Ice Cream Shop. Parking is in designated areas prior to the start/finish area. The course is mostly grass and wooded trails. Awards: High school team awards for the top 2 boys and the top 2 girls teams. Individual awards for the top 10 male and the top 10 female finishers. Middle school Team awards for the top 2 boys and the top 2 girls teams. Individual awards for the top 10 male and the top 10 female finishers.
