2025 Region 3 Class A and Class AA Information

LOCATION:      Westside High School Cross Country Complex

RACES FOR CLASS AA ATHLETES:

10:00 am         Girls Region 3 Class AA Championship.

10:45 am         Boys Region 3 Class AA Championship.

11:30 am         Class AA Awards Ceremony.

RACES FOR CLASS A ATHLETES:

12:00 pm         Girls Region 3 Class A Championship.

12:45 pm         Boys Region 3 Class A Championship.

  1:30 pm         Class A Awards Ceremony.

COURSE:  The Race Course for all Championship Races will be at the Westside High School Cross Country Course located in Clear Fork, WV. The course is mostly flat with a few inclines.  The course is totally grass and/or compacted dirt. 

ENTRIES:  Register on Athletic.net

            All athletes must be on Eligibility Sheet with name spelled correctly.

            All entries must indicate Class/grade level.

Enter Ten athletes, Run 7 athletes,  with any of the Ten athletes eligible to run at the State Meet if your team qualifies.

DEADLINE:   All entries and rosters must be received by Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

QUALIFYING for State Meet:

To Qualify as a Team:  Top 3 Scoring Teams.

To Qualify as an Individual: Top 5 Exclusive of Qualifying Teams, with Minimum of 10 advancing.

ADMISSION:  $7 FOR Adults, $5 per Student as required by WVSSAC.

PARKING:  All cars and buses will park in the High School parking lots.

TEAMS per WVSSAC:

Class AA:  Bluefield, Independence, James Monroe, Liberty Raleigh, Mingo Central, River View, Summers County, Westside, Wyoming East, Midland Trail.

Class A:  Greenbrier West, Meadow Bridge, Mt. View, Richwood, Sherman, Webster County.
