Location: Cokeley Recreation Area at North Bend State Park

Hosted by RITCHIE COUNTY Cross Country Teams

 ***We are limiting the number of athletes attending the race to 450 runners.***
We will monitor Athletic.net as teams/athletes enter and will close the race once we reach our limit. This change has been made to assist with parking and facility capacity at North Bend State Park.

 Races:

9:30am -- Middle School Girls

10:00am -- Middle School Boys

10:30am -- Middle School Awards

Awards: Top 30 Medals: Team 1st and 2nd places


11:15am -- High School Girls 5k

12:00pm -- High School Boys 5k

12:30pm -- High School Awards

Awards: Top 30 medals: Teams 1st and 2nd places


Location:   The course is located in Cokeley Recreation Area at North Bend State Park on the Harrisville side of the park.  The course is viewer friendly and almost entirely a grass surface.  We will have use of the bathhouse facilities at the campground including restrooms and showers.

Directions:

We STRONGLY recommend using the Ellenboro exit from RT 50 and follow the signs to North Bend.   For teams coming from the Parkersburg direction the Cairo exit will be a very unpleasant trip to the course especially on a bus.  The entrance to Cokeley Recreation Area is 6.7 miles from US Rt 50 and approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection of Rt 16 & Rt 31 in Harrisville.

Meet Information: There will be a general admission fee for spectators. We will have spotters in all areas to help runners, as well as an athletic trainer available. We will be selling meet t-shirts (available beside of restrooms / awards area) and there will be a concession stand. We will be using computer scoring. This Meet is sanctioned by WVSSAC.

Entry Fees: 
$90.00 for both High School teams 

$50.00 for one High School team 

$75.00 for both Middle School teams 

$45.00 for one Middle school team 

$15.00 per High School runner 

$10.00 per Middle School runner

There will not be any JV races. Please make sure to have all runners at the start line of their respective races.

Deadline: All entry fees and rosters must be received by September 29, 2024.
