2024 MSAC Championship

We would like to welcome your team to Cabell Midland High School on October 12^th for the 2024 MSAC Championship. We want all teams to have a great experience and will do everything possible to achieve this goal.  If you have any questions, the meet director is Chris Parsons.

Entry:                     Teams registered on Athletic.net

Entry Deadline:    Tuesday (October 8^th by 9:00pm)

Admission:            $6.00 per person

Awards:                 Top 10 Individuals and Top Team Plaque (Ceremony will be held on the Football Field)                  

Tent City is located in the regular tent city or in the shot/discus area since this meet is not as big as other meets at Midland.  Please be aware that tents are not permitted inside the football stadium.

The course is open for inspection and warm-up at all times, however, if a race is in progress please make sure your team stays clear of racing athletes to ensure that no runner is impeded.

Packet pick-up will be at the Red Track Building outside track fence on finish line side of stadium. Make sure to check that each of your competing athletes has a race number.  If you have an athlete who needs a number, see official at the Red Track Building. If you have a number in your packet for an athlete who is not running, just ignore it because they will not be counted

The results will also be posted later on RUNWV.

Runners may NOT wear GPS or any watch that indicates pace. The watch should only display time in a stopwatch form.

Coaches and spectators MAY NOT go up the hill using the entrance that the athletes use.  The spectator path is behind the press box inside the football stadium that is equipped with stairs to help make getting there easier.  Please do not attempt to use the hill the athletes use so no interference occurs with competing runners.

The awards ceremonies will be held in the end zone.  Top 10 individuals and top team will come to awards podium to receive their awards.

(If weather is going to be seasonable hotter than normal, we will run races earlier. I will inform everybody in advance, so you can plan accordingly.)
