2024 LKC Cross Country Meet

Doddridge County Park

Dear Cross-Country Coach,

            Doddridge County High School is pleased to host the 2024 Little Kanawha Conference Championship Meet.

Date:               Thursday, October 17

Schedule:        4:30pm            Girls' Race

                        5:15pm            Boys' Race     

                        Awards will be held shortly after the conclusion of the Girls’ Race.

Awards:          Custom LKC Medals for the 1^st 24 finishers in each division.

                        The top 12 will make “1st Team All-Conference” and will also receive plaques at

the LKC Banquet in May. Placers 13-24 will make 2^nd team All-LKC.

The team championship trophies will be presented at the LKC Banquet, but we have ordered 1^st and 2^nd place plaques to be given out at the meet.

Course:            For the most part, we will run our regular course minus the creek crossing. 

Also, we will not run "Big Bertha Hill", but rather "Tree-line Hill" beside her.  The distance will be made up elsewhere, most likely around the old school house.

Miscellaneous: 1) There will be no separate JV races. Just run all of your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. Entries are to be done on Athletic.net and must be in by Sunday, October 13th at 7:00 PM.  We will pull entries on Monday, October 14th. Remember to actually enter your kids after you register for the meet.

2) Admission ($5.00/person) will be charged for spectators at the top of the hill. See you on October 17^th!
