Predicted Class A Girls Team Results
It looks like we should once again have a battle between Doddridge and Williamstown for the title. Doddridge appears to
have a small edge going in. I show them with an 11 point advantage over Williamstown. Almost the entirety of the top 30
are on qualifying teams, meaning all the spots in that range are going to matter. St. Marys sits on the outside hoping
for a great day to snag a podium spot. It's not out of the question, but I do have them 22 points back. All 3 teams
would be strong favorites in the Class AA Division. In fact, #4 Ritchie just knocked off Class AA #1 Braxton at the LKC
Meet. Class A is strong this year.

Predicted Class A Girls Top 25
There should be no drama here. Alyssa Sauro is the defending champion. Rankings indicate that she's 1:24 ahead of the
field. She should win with ease. Things get really interesting after that with the next 3 ranked within 5 seconds of
each other. I went with Destiny Berryman for the 2nd spot. Historically, she's a good big meet performer and while now
ranked behind Cottrill and Boggs after a rough regional, she's owns a 6-4 head-to-head advantage over her teammate and
has taken 3 of the last 4. She also beat Boggs in the only head-to-head matchup. Of course, that was on 9/2, so the
relevancy is questionable. Katie Cottrill gets the nod for the 3rd spot. She's #2 in the rankings and beat Berryman
at the Regional (and 3 other occasions) and beat Boggs in their only matchup of the season. Bella Boggs gets the 4th
slot. Suffering a bit early with a broken nose, she's rebounded and running well late. She has also shown that she's
a big meet performer. Anna Bennett gets the pick for the 5th spot. She's come on well late and had an excellent Regional
run. It was statistically the 2nd best Regional performance in the field. Moving up is certainly within reason. Virginia
Haddox has the 6th position. She's another that tends to run very well in the big meets. She owns 4 wins over Bennett
on the season (vs. 5 losses). Ava Lightfritz gets the nod for 7th over teammate Cassie Sites. They've proven to be quite
the tandem. In their last 6 meetings, the largest difference between the two is 6 seconds. In the last 5, it's just 3
seconds. I went with Lightfritz just one experience. Sites obviously gets the 8th spot. Katie Hicks has done her typical
late season surge and finds herself in the 9th spot. I gave the 10th spot to Jenna Barnett on a 2-1 head-to-head advantage
over the next competitor.
