Lincoln County Invitational

Notes

Admission - $5 per person taken at the gate entrance of the school area.

Registration - Will be held at the finish line area under the big white tent.  Maps will be available in print. 

Please return any unused bibs.

Parking – Parking will be in the lower field by the entrance.  Coaches needing to drop off tents and equipment may do so by tent city then park by the high school soccer field or over in the baseball parking area.  Busses can drop off near tent city then will need to park over by the girls softball field or go back up to the school to park.  Anyone with a handicap sticker will be allowed to park at the soccer or baseball field lots. 

High School Course – The course is mostly grass trails with some rock areas. Due to the construction of the new football field runners will cross 2 sidewalks and 1 paved road area.  There is one large hill and two short steep inclines. 

Middle School Course – The course is mostly grass trails with some rock areas.  Due to the new football construction runners now run around 50 yards on a paved road and cross two sidewalks.  There is one large hill and one short steep incline. 

Awards – Metals will be handed out at the finish line to the top 15 runners.  All other runners will receive a ribbon.  Team awards will be presented at the end of the Middle School meets and then again at the end of the High School meets. A short recognition event will be held between the Middle School and High School races for Lincoln County 8^th and 12^th graders.

Media and Video Production – Armstrong Television will be filming portions of the meet and the finish line area.  In the past they have done interviews with kids as well.  The finished production will be aired on Armstrong Cable channel My Wire along with being posted on their YouTube channel SASTOWERS. 

The Herald Dispatch, Lincoln Journal and Logan Banner have been invited.

Concessions – Drinks and a few snacks will be sold over by the registration area.
