2023 Harrison County Championships

When:              Tuesday, October 3

Where:             Robert C. Byrd High School

Schedule:        4:30 pm           High School Girls (5K)

                        5:15 pm           High School Boys (5K)

                        6:00 pm           Senior Recognition & Awards

Entry Fees:      $40 for each team ($80 for boys & girls)

                        $10 per runner if you do not have a full team

                        Make checks payable to “Robert C. Byrd Cross Country”

Awards:           Trophies for 1^st & 2^nd place teams in each division

                        Medals for individual placers 1 – 10 in each division

Course:            Medium rolling hills. Start and finish on old soccer field before you get to the track.

Miscellaneous: Concessions will be available. There will be no separate JV races. You just run all your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. We are only accepting entries via www.RaceTimeEntry.com. The deadline for entries is Saturday, September 30^th. If you have questions, you may email Aubrie Johnson at aubrierose27@gmail.com. Send all entry fees to Eric Post at Robert C. Byrd High School, 1 Eagle Way Clarksburg, WV 26301. Checks should be made payable to Robert C. Byrd Cross Country.  Admission will be charged for spectators ($5) as you pull into the facilities. See you on October 3^rd!

Dear Parents,

On Tuesday, October 3^rd  Robert C. Byrd High School will be hosting the Harrison County Cross Country Championships.  We have designated this meet as Senior Night.

We would like to honor and thank ALL seniors for their efforts, dedication, and contributions to their high schools.  

After the awards ceremony we will be introducing ALL SENIORS and their parents/guardians.    

If your team wishes to participate in the Senior Night activity, please complete the appropriate lines at the bottom of this letter and bring it with you to the meet on October 3^rd.  Turn this into coach to bring to coaches meeting or turn in when you purchase your ticket at the gate.
