Predicted Class AAA Girls Team Results
Morgantown is again the overwhelming favorite. Getting their top 5 all on the podium would not be much of a surprise. I have them winning it by a whopping 50 points. Cabell Midland is the favorite for the 2nd spot, but University could fight for that spot if they run well or if Midland is a little off. Buckhannon-Upshur would be the most likely to sneak into the top 3 with Jefferson and Hurricane needing something significant to happen to snag one of those spots.

Predicted Class AAA Girls Top 25
Irene Riggs is the favorite to make it three in a row. She missed a little over a month of the season, returning only for the Regional. Her return was a dandy...dropping a sub-17:00 at the Regional. Audrey Hall is a pretty solid pick for the 2nd spot. Things get really messy after that as a number of girls could easily claim the next spots. I went with Madeline Gump for 3rd, having had the best regional run of the bunch. I dropped 3rd ranked Lydia Falkenstein into the 4th position. Savannah Pritt jumps into the 5th position coming off a pair of really strong runs at the MSAC and Regional Meets. Claire von Boetticher is slotted into the 6th position, but she just beat Gump at the OVAC meet before Gump got her revenge at the Regional. She also just beat Falkenstein at the Regional. Amelia Summers is placed into the 7th spot, finishing just behind Falkenstein at the Regional. Ella Hardin gets the shaft a bit, dropping into the 8th spot. By rankings, Pritt, von Boetticher, Summers, and Hardin would be expected to finish within 0.5 seconds of each other. Wouldn't that be a finish to see. Anna Lester is tabbed for the 9th spot. She was just 1 second behind Summers and 2 behind Falkenstein at the Regional meet, so upward movement is possible for her as well. Adelyn Tager takes my 10th and final podium spot. I feel like there is a gap after #14, and anyone beyond that climbing into the top 10 would be a surprise.
