Predicted Class A Boys Team Results
Williamstown is again the class of the field and should repeat as champion pretty easily. I don't have them winning by as much as last year, but still with a 30 point cushion. Buffalo looks to have a pretty solid grip on the 2nd spot. There should be a pretty good battle for the 3rd spot between Doddridge, St. Marys, and Charleston Catholic. I have Doddridge taking the spot, but I only have 16 points between the three of them. They'd each have to have a really good day and/or have Buffalo be really off to make the podium.
1. Williamstown 31
2. Buffalo 61
3. Doddridge 90
4. St. Marys 95
5. Charleston Catholic 106
6. Wheeling Central 147
7. Tucker 153
8. Webster 190

Predicted Class A Boys Top 25
This is a bit interesting. The top two guys didn't meet this season. They had one opportunity, but one of them didn't run that day. I'm going with Aidan Scott to repeat as champion. It's not definitive, but if it comes down to a kick on the track, Scott has shown in both Cross Country and Track that he's hard to beat on the kick. Chase Trembly gets the pick for 2nd. He had the best Regional performance of the bunch and has been consistently good all season. Julian Johnson is the pick for 3rd. He knocked off Scott in an early season meeting. I've given Zach Cannon the edge over A.J. Skeens for the 4th spot based on his Regional victory over Skeens. That puts Skeens in the 5th position. I have Patrick Reilly in the 6th spot. He was 3rd last season and is still on the rebound from some early season issues. Donovan Tanouye gets the pick for the 7th spot. Outside the Regional, he didn't get to compete against any of the other top Class A Runners on the season, so there isn't a ton to go on. But his Regional was very good on a very fast St. Marys course. Nicholas Pitchford hadn't competed since 9/24 before the Regional, but he beat both Reilly and Skeens at the Regional, so he could very easily move up as well. Carter Sias gets the pick for 9th following an excellent 2nd half of the season. He knocked off Cannon at the LKC Championships. Will Coiner gets the nod for the final podium position. He's been consistently good all season. I think we go at least 17 deep in true contenders.
