2022 Spartan Invitational

Saturday, October 8^th, 2022

COURSE:  “REVISED” to make more runner friendly!  Runners will be running primarily on grass, with some areas of gravel, packed dirt and pavement on couple crossings.  Extremely spectator friendly with almost a 100% view of runners.  A course map will be posted soon!

RACE TIMES:         8:30am Course Opens

                                    10:00am High School Girls

                                    10:30am High School Boys

                                    11:00am HS AWARDS

                                    11:15am Middle School Girls

                                    11:45am Middle School Boys

                                    12:30pm MS Awards

ENTRY FEES:          $50.00 per team / $90 for Boys & Girls team per school, $10 per individual

Tri-State Racer will be doing race timing!  Please be sure to enter on racetimeentry.com by Wednesday, October 5^th, 2022

BUS PARKING will be at the Softball Parking Lot at Greenbrier East HS – right beside the WV State Fairgrounds.

SPECTATOR PARKING:  We will have designated parking areas on the grounds of the State Fair.  You will enter the parking lot at the main entrance of the Public Fair Parking entrance and will be guided to parking.  We have no meet entrance fee however a $5.00 per car fee will be charged to cover meet expenses.

PACKET PICKUP tent will be provided near the Start Line – see the setup on TriState Racer.

A limited supply of RACE T-Shirts will be sold adjacent to the Vendor Tents – get there early!

VENDORS:  The Shoe Box will be in attendance with a wide variety of Brooks and Saucony running shoes and other products. 

CONCESSIONS will be on site.

TENT CITY: several areas will be designated for team tents.   

BATHROOMS:  Available in the State Fair Parking Area.

AWARDS: Team Awards for Top 3 places and Individual Top 20 runners in each race.

DIRECTIONS:  From I-64 take the Lewisburg Exit 169, proceed on 219 South, you will stay on Rt. 219 for approximately 4 miles.  Once you pass Burger King, the road will fork into a two lane.  Stay in the right lane.  You will travel approximately 1 mile with the State Fairgrounds Public Parking Entrance on the Right.  Buses can drop athletes off and proceed to the far left of the parking area, crossing over between the softball field and East Football Stadium for bus parking.
