Dear Coaches,

After reviewing our final count of middle school runners at the completion of registration Sunday evening, we have decided to hold both a Varsity and JV race for both boys and girls.  We were unexpectedly surprised that we had 240 middle school boys and 187 middle school girls sign up to compete in our Wild and Wet Invitational.  We believe this decision was made in the best interest and for the safety of all the participating athletes.  We would like this to be an enjoyable and memorable event for everyone involved.  The boys’ varsity race will take place as scheduled at 11:30am, followed by the girls’ varsity race at 12:00pm.  The boys’ JV race will be held starting at 12:30pm, with the girls’ JV race to follow at 1:00pm.  Middle school awards will be presented at approximately 1:45pm.  We will be giving out metals to the top 10 runners of each race.  Thank you for your understanding.  We look very forward to seeing each of you this Saturday!
