2021 Region IV – “A” Championship

Location: Wood Co 4H Grounds, 2203 Butcher Bend Rd, Mineral Wells, WV 26150

Races: 2:00pm – High School Girls Region IV – “A” Championship

2:45pm – High School Boys Region IV – “A” Championship

Course: The 2021 “A” Regional Championship will be held at the Wood Co 4H grounds in Mineral Wells, WV. Tent City will be located near the start line.

Entries: Please submit all entries on RaceTimeEntry.com

- All athletes must be on eligibility sheet with names correctly spelled.

- All entries must indicate class / grade level.

- Enter 10, Run 7 – any 7 of the 10 can run at the State Meet if your TEAM qualifies.

Deadline: All entries and rosters must be received by Sunday, October 17^th, 2021.

Awards: Medals for the Top 10 Runners

Plaques for the 1^st place Teams

Qualifying for the State Meet:

To qualify as an INDIVIDUAL: Each region will qualify 20% of the total number of “A” contestants that START the regional race, INCLUSIVE of those individuals that qualify as a Team Qualifier. A minimum of 10 individuals will qualify from each Region. Standard math rounding (.5 and up rounds up, less than .5 rounds down) will apply.

To qualify as a TEAM: This depends on how many complete teams (5 or more runners) start the race in your regional contest. If only one full team starts in your region, it qualifies. If 2-5 teams start at your regional, the top 2 qualify. If 6-9 teams start in your regional, the top 3 qualify. If more than 10 teams start, the top 4 qualify.

Admission: $5.00 for all Adults and Students as required by the WVSSAC. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.

Parking: All buses and cars will park inside the 4H Grounds.
