23rd Annual Wild and Wet Invitational

            The Cameron High School Cross-Country team invites you to participate in the Wild and Wet Invitational.  Coaches will be able to monitor their athletes without restriction.  There will be a Varsity race, Open Race and Middle school race.  

 

Event Times: 

            7:30 AM – 9 AM: Course Tour / pick up Packets

            9 AM: Girls’ High School Varsity Race (All Classes)

            9:30 AM: Boys’ High School Varsity Race (All Classes)

            10:15 AM:  High School Team Awards (near concessions)

10:30 AM: Open Race 

(Awards: medals Top 3 Male & Top 3 Females given @ finish line)

            11:30 AM: Girls’ Middle School Varsity Race

            12:00 PM: Boys’ Middle School Varsity Race

            12:30 PM: Middle School Team Awards (near concessions)

 

 HS & MS Awards: 

Individual - top 15 male & top 15 female

Team - top 3 male & top 3 female

 

Entry Fee:

            $50 per high school team (if both boys and girls full team, then $100). 

            $25 per middle school team (if both boys and girls full team, then $50).

            For individual runners (not full team) high school, it is $10 per athlete.

            For individual runners (not full team) middle school, it is $5 per athlete.

 

Checks made payable to CAMERON CROSS COUNTRY / mail checks to Cameron High School, Attn. Cross Country, 2012 Blue and Gold rd. Cameron, WV  26033, We will also collect money on Race day.

 

 Location:  From Moundsville travel Route 250 South 18 miles to Dragon Field, Turn right on Clouston woods rd. and cross little bridge and drive two miles.  You can't miss the course on left. Sign posted on right side near little bridge for Wild & Wet invitational.

 

Entry: We will be using RaceTimeEntry.com for our online entry system this year.  RaceTimeEntry.com.  Please be sure to use this site for your entry.  

ENTRY DEADLINE:  Entries are due September 15th, 2021.

 

Course:  It is flat with and four stream crossings.  There are two sections which are fairly steep after crossing the creek.  The approximate one-mile section in the woods (an old logging road, which has been groomed) is from 100M to 200M above the creek on a bench.  The woods are mostly flat or downhill.

 

Concession:  Food and drinks will be available near the Finish area.

T-Shirts:       Will be sold near the finish line area.

Sanctioned:  West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. 

Admission/Parking Fee:  All spectators over 12 years old--$5.00
