Meet: Class AAA Boys State Meet Predictions

Predicted Class AAA Boys Team Results
University appears to be in a strong position to take the team title again this season.
I have Morgantown in the 2nd spot, but not by a large margin as Cabell Midland sits
waiting in the wings for the spot. Wheeling Park, if hitting on all cylinders could
contend for that spot as well. I feel like there is a little gap after those four
with Hurricane the next in line. I'm not 100% sure of some of the lineups, and I've
made some assumptions in here that, if wrong, could alter things, though I wouldn't
imagine it would be dramatic changes.

Predicted Class AAA Boys Top 25
Josh Edwards again comes in as the easy favorite. He has not been remotely challenged
in the few meets that University got to run. The next four slots could really go any
which way. I went with Franklin Angelos for the 2nd spot. He has upped his game the
last two meets. Coming into the season, I had pegged Rocco DeVincent for the 2nd spot,
and I originally slotted him in there in this, but I ended up dropping him into 3rd.
Chris Lucas has also looked very good in his last two outings. I've slotted him 4th,
but moving into that 2nd spot is very much a possibility. Keegan Barnette has knocked
off Angelos on two occasions, so his moving up to 2nd wouldn't be a shock either. I've
dropped Sam Lerose into the 6th spot as he has been coming around and looked good at
his Regional. Quinn Jacquez had the 5th best Regional run of the group, so I've moved
him up into the 7th slot. Cooper Gibson beat Lerose and Barnette at the Regional, so
I may have pushed him too low at 8th. Jordan Thomas gets the 9th spot, having been
close to DeVincent a couple times. Chase Pepper gets the 10th spot off a strong Regional run.
There will be plenty of others vying for those podium spots.
