Frankfort has asserted itself in the 2nd half of the season and has depth on its side.
At the Regional, their usual #2 ran as their #7, and they still won it by 20. So, they
come in as a solid favorite. However, do not rule out Fairmont Senior. It will take
really strong runs from 3-4-5, but its certainly not outside the realm of possibility.
Winfield should also be in the mix for a podium spot. There is definitely a gap between
those three and the rest of the field. East Fairmont looks like the next most likely
to slip into the top 3.

Predicted Class AA Boys Top 25
Logan Zuchelli comes in as a slight favorite over Winfield's Matthew Scheneberg for the
individual title. Zuchelli beat him in the season opener in a fairly close battle, but
at this point, nearly two months later, the relevance is limited. Scheneberg took the
top ranking spot just prior to the Regional, but Zuchelli took it back in the Regional Meets.
Tyler Hayes has regained form in the last couple meets, and I've slotted him into the 3rd spot.
I've moved Garrett Ferguson up to the 4th spot. He came through at the State Meet last year
and was close to Hayes at the Regional. I put Konnor Allison in the 5th spot following
a poor Regional run, but he has a win over Hayes to his credit. Rising into the top 3 is reasonable.
Brayden Marshall has had an excellent and consistent Freshman campaign. I've put him in the 6th
spot. Charlie Smoak gets the 7th spot but is very much in contention to move up having beaten
Allison and finishing right on the heels of Ferguson early and owning a win over Hayes. Ethan
Board has been consistently good all season and gets the 8th spot. Chance Thompson has also
been consistently good all season and gets the nod for the 9th spot. I moved Xander Shoemake
into the 10th spot. He has once again started his stong late season run and has been a big
time State Meet performer the last two seasons. There are a few others who could jump into
the podium spots.
