2020 Taylor Relays
St. Marys HIGH SCHOOL
The St.
Marys High School Cross Country Team would like to invite your team to the 2nd
Annual Taylor Relays (IN HONOR OF ALL THE GREAT TAYLOR RUNNERS THROUGHOUT SMHS
HISTORY). SMHS Taylor Relays is a relay
style cross country race in which we will run one HS race and one MS race. Each relay team will be made up of 4 runners
racing approximately 3000 meters on the SMHS cross country course; teams can
consist of 4 girls, 4 boys, or mixed (2 boys and 2 girls). Incomplete teams can run as many legs of the
relay as they have available and will have time recorded.

4:30 – High
School Race (Boys, Girls, Mixed)
5:45 – Middle
School Race (Boys, Girls, Mixed)

10 Minutes after MS Race (1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Place Team Trophies in each category)
Awards:
Top 3 Individual Finishers, Top 3 Relays in Each Division (Champions get
T-Shirts)
T-Shirts:
Inspire III will be on site to sell t-shirts
Course: The 2020 Taylor Relays will be held at St.
Marys High School. Tent City will be on
baseball field, Start/Finish Line will be located beside Discus/Shot Put rings. The Course will be rolling and predominately
on grass (SMHS, SM Golf Course, Property above Golf Course) with a few road
crossings.
Entry Fees: $50 for both High School Teams, $25 for one
High School Team: $50 for both Middle School Teams, $25 for one Middle School Team
(Covers ALL relay teams or individuals)
Entries: Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet (Please NOTIFY
Coach Nutter if attending so template can be sent)
Deadline: All Excel Spreadsheets need to be returned by
Monday September 21st by NOON
Checks: Please make checks out to St. Marys High School for Entry and Tickets
Miscellaneous: We are asking that masks be worn by
spectators at all times. Coaches should wear masks when they are
going to come close to runners, parents, or spectators. They can
unmask if they are running with their runners or running from spot to spot on
the course. Runners must wear masks unless they are running.
This would include warming up, running from the tent to the starting line,
racing, & their cool down run.
Pre-Sold Tickets from each
school will be dropped in a bucket as you arrive - $5 Per Ticket and
please use the guidelines per the WVSSAC
