REGISTRATION:

To register for the Regional Championship, we will be using RaceTimeEntry.com. If you have already registered for a meet during the season which used RaceTimeEntry.com (Chic-Fil-A, Frankfort Invite, etc.) then you do not need to register a second time. You will simply login with the same information as before. Then add your regional meet to your schedule and follow the directions to submit your roster. You may only enter a MAXIMUM of 10 athletes at the regional meet. While only seven (7) may run at the regional and state, all the names you indicate will receive a race number and may be substituted at the regional/state meet. By entering your alternates ahead of time, you will not need to take the time to get extra race numbers at the regional/state meet. The substitute runner will already have an assigned number and be ready the day of the regional/state meet. If you have any questions about RaceTimeEntry.com contact the site by the following email developer@eborkdev.com.

State Qualification Standards:  Your athletes may qualify for the state meet in two ways:

As a Team (Boys and Girls)

Regions with the following number of teams who start the regional race will qualify the indicated number of teams.

1 - 5 teams - 2 qualifiers

6 - 9 teams - 3 qualifiers

10 plus teams - 4 qualifiers

As an Individual

Each region will qualify 20% of the total number of (AA) contestants that start the regional race to the state meet, inclusive of those individuals that qualified as a team qualifier.  A minimum of 10 individuals will qualify from each region.  Regular math rounding (0.5 & up, round up) will apply.  A count will be taken on the line and the number of runners that may qualify for states will be announced to all athletes and coaches prior to the firing of the gun.

Health Requirements:

ALL Coaches must sign and provide the wellness check document on the last page.  The wellness document states that the coach checked all their athletes prior to departing from their home school to the meet with temperature checks and ensuring all their athletes are in proper physical well-being.  Coaches should turn in the document upon arrival at which time they will also receive their coaches packet.  There will NOT be a coaches meeting.  If any coach has a concern, they can present their concern to a race official, Coach Phillips or Coach Snoberger.

Coaches should encourage all athletes to be dressed for the meet prior to arriving.  This is to ensure that the bathroom facilities have limited usage.  Hand-sanitizer will be located outside the bathroom facilities.  Please encourage your athletes to use prior to entering and also upon exiting the bathroom facilities.

Coaches should remind and encourage all athletes and spectators to wear face masks whenever they are not competing.  Coaches and athletes will be required to have a face mask prior to reaching the start-line area.

Coaches should remind athletes to remain with their school and not to intermingle with athletes from other schools.

Spectators are not to go beyond the bathroom areas to the stadium.  Only athletes and coaches will be allowed in the tent area.
