Cross Country Meet

Date: Saturday, October 17, 2020

Location: Ravenswood High School Eastwood Facilities (enter Ravenswood Grade School into gps for directions)

Race Time: 10:00 a.m. – Boys Varsity Race

10:45 a.m. – Girls Varsity Race

We will be following current COVID-19 Guidelines from WVSSAC at the time of the race and as such only a max of 85 runners per race are permitted. Depending on numbers and if necessary, we will hold a combined boys and girls jv race. More information will be provided once teams have registered.

Coaches should encourage athletes to be dressed for the meet prior to arriving.  

Coaches should remind and encourage all athletes and spectators to wear face masks whenever they are not competing and are not social distancing.

· All tickets will be pre-sale. The cost is $5 each.

· Please send a picture of your ticket and a list of who purchased tickets to caraco514@yahoo.com.

· You may bring a check for the pre-sold tickets to the meet Sat. a.m. made out to Ravenswood Middle school.

· Entry fee is still $100.00 for a boys and girls team or $50 for one.

· You may set up team tents on softball field .

· Restrooms are located by the Track

· Packet pick-up will be at the finish line.

· Please do not arrive until an hour and a half before your race.

Registration is open and on racetimeentry.com. Deadline to register is Oct 14, 2020.

Awards: Individual medals will be given to 1-15.

Course Description: 3000 meter course, open field and woodland trail with 2 challenging hill climbs.
