Huntington/Wayne Invitational

Coaches, through all the chaos, the preparations for this weekend are going well.  With numbers rising throughout the state and increased attendance guidelines, I ask that you please prepare your spectators and athletes to social distance and wear their masks.  This is the first meet in which they are allowing grandparents.  Therefore, we have a more at-risk population at the meet and I just want to emphasize the need to keep everyone safe. 

Race Times:

Middle School at Huntington High, 1 Highlander Way, Huntington, WV 25701

In the middle school race, we will start the first wave and allow them to run the baseball/softball loop twice.  Once they cleared the lower portion and the 4 wheeler comes back to the start field, we will start Wave 2.  My guess is that it will be approximately 8-10 minutes between each wave.  

Boys

8:00am-Wave 1

8:10am-Wave 2

8:20am-Wave 3

8:30am-Wave 4

Girls

9:00am-Wave 1

9:10am-Wave 2

9:20am-Wave 3

In the high school races, each wave will go off every 5 minutes.  It is a one loop course and we should have no problem starting every 5 minutes.  

High School at the YMCA Kennedy Center 5800 Ohio River Rd, Huntington, WV 

We will start the boys (all classes) race at 

4:00pm-Wave 1

4:05pm-Wave 2

4:10pm-Wave 3

4:15pm-Wave 4

We will allow the boys to finish

Girls (all classes)

4:45pm-Wave 1 

4:50pm-Wave 2

4:55pm-Wave 3
