We regret to announce that the Fairmont Senior Invitational scheduled for September 26 is cancelled.
Those of you who are familiar with our race know we have to use buses to shuttle teams and spectators to the golf course from Walmart. With less than two weeks until race day, we have still not received permission from the BOE to use school buses. There is still a slim chance we can get them; nevertheless, we have decided to cancel our race. We hope that by cancelling now, as opposed to possibly having to cancel closer to the 26th, teams will have time to find a substitute race.
Again, please accept our apologies. We wish every team the best of luck with this season!
