2020 Doddridge County Invitational
Dear Cross-Country Coach,
The Doddridge County High School and Middle School Cross-Country Teams would like to invite you and your teams to the 2020 “Doddridge County Invitational”. Please be aware that this information is subject to changes that may be made by the WVSSAC or the local health department.
When: Tuesday, September 15
Where: The Doddridge County Park.
Directions: From US Route 50 take the Snowbird Road exit (Doddridge County Park) for 1.2 miles to the park entrance. Teams coming from the west on Route 50 may avoid traffic congestion by turning right onto Route 18 south from the traffic light. They will follow Route 18 for 3.2 miles and take a left onto Snowbird Road for 0.7 miles to the park entrance. For GPS the address is 1252 Snowbird Road, West Union, WV 26456.
Schedule: 4:30pm High School Girls (5K)
5:10pm High School Boys (5K)
5:45pm Middle School Girls (3K)
6:10pm Middle School Boys (3K)
Entry Fees: High School - $45 for each team ($90 for boys & girls)
Middle School - $45 for each team ($90 for boys & girls)
$9 per runner if you do not have a full team
Make checks payable to “DCHS Athletics”. (See Misc. below)
Awards: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place teams in each division
Trophies for individual placers 1 – 10 in each division
Medals for individual placers 11 – 20 in each division
Course: Two creek crossings and medium rolling hills for HS & MS runners.
Miscellaneous: Concessions and T-shirts will be available! There
will be no separate JV races. You just
run all of your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones
that will count in the scoring. We are
only accepting entries via www.RaceTimeEntry.com. The deadline for entries is Tuesday,
