You are cordially invited to the 2019 Paw Paw WV State Middle School Invitational to fight it out with some of the best middle school cross-country teams in West Virginia on one of its toughest courses on Saturday, September 14^th 2019 at 10:00 AM. The meet will be electronically chip timed and scored.

Schedule: 8:00 AM – Gates Open

8:00 AM – 9:30 AM -- Registration and Course Touring

9:30 AM – Coaches Meeting

10:00 – Girls Varsity Race

10:30 – Boys Varsity Race

11:00 – Combined Girls/Boys JV Race

Awards: Trophies for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place Varsity Teams (Boys and Girls). Trophies for 1^st-5^th place, Medals for 6^th-20^th place Varsity Runners (Boys and Girls). Medals for 1^st thru 10^th place Junior Varsity Runners (Boys and Girls).

Rosters: Varsity Teams will consist of seven runners. The top 5 count towards the teams scores. All ties will be broken by the sixth runner for each team. If one of the tied teams does not have a sixth runner, tie is broken by the fifth runners finish.

Course: The course is a challenging technical course made up of rolling hills through a wooded area and fields encircling the Paw Paw Fairgrounds with a fast, flat finish. There is a brief section along a gravel road. The course is very spectator friendly.

Entry Fees: $50.00 per Team. ($90.00 for both boys and girls teams). $10 for individual runners not affiliated with a full team. Admission Fee of $5.00 per vehicle will be charged at the gate. All coaches MUST show SSAC card to gain free admission.

To Enter: Visit the site www.smileymiles.com and search the event calendar date and name of the event. Fill out the attached spreadsheet entry form and e-mail to the timing company. Packet pick-up will begin as soon as they are available the day of the races.

Deadline: Entries must be received no later than Midnight on Thursday, September 12^th. All changes/missing entries need to be completed prior to the coaches meeting.

Notes: There will be a full open concession stand, bathroom facilities, and a playground for smaller children to enjoy. The fairgrounds are located two miles past Rivesville on Rt 19N. If you are coming from North of Morgantown , get off at the Westover (Morgantown Mall) exit and drive approx. 11 miles past the mall entrance on Rt 19S. T-shirts will be available at the meet.
