Nicholas
County High School and Summersville Middle School invite you to one of the most
scenic last races of the season as you run along the lake and finish on the
beach (in WV).

Roster:
Unlimited entries per team.
Top seven count as your team, top 5 score.
Course: Up graveled hill (Big Bertha’s
counterpart), across dikes and down around edge of the lake to finish on the
beach. Lake will be down for winter drainage but still accessible to splash in
for the more adventurous. I do NOT recommend spikes unless they have good
support because the first half mile is on pavement, then into gravel and grass.
Should be a fast course and good times. Spectator friendly, plenty of parking.
Admission fees are $5 for general public.

Fees: High /Middle school - $50 for
one team, $90 for two teams, $8 per individual runners

Directions:
6 miles south of Summersville on Rt. 19, turn at stop light/signs for lake
(away from the U’Save gas station) and drive about 3
miles till you see the Battle Run Campground/Lake sign on the right.

Per
Corps of Engineers requirements, no drones are allowed on lake grounds or
around air- port.
