St. Marys High School is excited to host the LKC meet and hope that all have a great experience.  Below are a few notes for coaches, athletes, and parents.  If you have any questions please call or email me before Saturday.

1) Location - The NEW St. Marys High School - Address - 2330 N Pleasants Hwy St. Marys, WV 2170.  The course is located just a few miles north of the metropolis that is also known as St. Marys.  

2) Spectators/Coaches Info - spectators will NOT be allowed to go off of school grounds.  We will be making a loop out above the golf course and returning on the golf course which parents will NOT be allowed to go on to.  We will have people patrolling the area to be sure they don't cross.  The reasoning behind this is because of the housing development that is directly beside the school.  The loop is around 3/4 of a mile so parents that do actively support will see them come back quickly.  There will be coaches badges in your packets, these will allow you to head out to the trail if you would like - just be sure to cross where the coal mining belt will be across the road to be sure we don't enter or exit through anyone's grass.  Also, the HS map is  attached to this email.  

3) Tent City - you will be allowed to place your tents in the outfield of the baseball fields which is directly beside the start and near the stadium where the race will finish.  There are two entrances into the baseball field, when being dropped off it is fine to use either one to carry items to location.

4) Parking - BUS Parking will be at the back of the school parking lot; once those fill up we will park them in a few places around the school- ALL buses will drop of kids at the gate near the stadium.  General Parking will take place at the High School and MOVTI.  .  Admission will be $5 per person.

5) Course - Due to construction and heavy rains today their are a few minor changes in front of the MOVTI and around the back end of the golf course to be sure we stay at the 5K length.  Due to the rain we will not be checking spikes, but please ask that you stay off of the football field when finished.  There will be an area once you finish you can sit down on to take spikes off or you can work your way out through the stadium gates directly off the track.  

6) Construction - there is road construction as well as major water lines going in directly in front of the school.  Please leave yourself a few extra minutes to arrive due to the delays coming up Rt 2 from the Wendys to the High School.  Let your parents know as well that traffic is terrible between 3:30 and 4:30; arriving early for the meet will be critical for viewing purposes.

7) Concessions - Concessions will be sold at the stadium

8) T-Shirts - Inspire 111 will be on site selling t shirts at the stadium

10) Race Times - HS Girls - 4:30, HS Boys - 5:15

11) Awards - Awards will be done in the auditorium at the High School.  Individual - Top 12 will be 1st Team All LKC and 13-24 will be 2nd Team All LKC and Team - Team Champion and Runner Up.  1st Team All LKC and Team Champion will be invited to the LKC Banquet in May to receive their All Conference Plaques.
