2019 DODDRIDGE COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL INVITATIONAL

Dear Cross-County Coach,

The Doddridge Dogs Cross-Country Teams would like to invite you to the 29th annual Doddridge County Middle School Invitational.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 15^th, 4:00pm

Where: The Doddridge County Park

Directions: From US Route 50 take the Snowbird Road exit (Doddridge County Park) for 1.2 miles to the park entrance. Teams coming from the west on Route 50 may avoid traffic congestion by turning right onto Route 18 south from the traffic light. They will follow Route 18 for 3.2 miles and take a left onto Snowbird Road for 0.7 miles to the park entrance. For GPS the address is 1252 Snowbird Road, West Union, WV 26456.

Awards: The top twenty individuals in both the boys’ and girls’ varsity races will receive trophies. The top five schools in each division will receive team trophies. The first fifteen JV boy and girl finishers will be awarded medals.

Entry Fee: The entry fee will be $25.00 per team or $50.00 per school. For schools without full teams the fee will be $5.00 per runner. Make checks payable to: Doddridge County Middle School and send your entry fee to Craig Kellar at Doddridge County High School, 79 Bulldog Drive, West Union, WV 26456. Concessions: Food and drinks will be available as well as the official Doddridge County Invitational tee shirts.

Course: The course is a beautiful 2.17-mile, viewer friendly, rolling grass course with one challenging hill and two creek crossings.

Notes: The Varsity Girls' race will start at 4:00pm and will be followed by Varsity Boys, JV Girls, and JV Boys. The day will conclude with team and individual awards at the stage area of the park.
