Predicted A-AA Girls Team Results
Winfield has asserted itself in the 2nd half of the season to establish themselves as
the team to beat. I have them taking the win by 21 points, which is solid, but not
insurmountable. I have a pair of other teams that can make the leap with a strong day
or if Winfield falters. I have Bridgeport in the 2nd spot, just 4 points ahead of
Williamstown, who is the far and away favorite to take the Class A Title. I don't
really feel like anyone else has a legitimate shot. I have 58 points between 3rd
place Williamstown and 4th place Fairmont Senior. For the Class A runner-up, it
looks like St. Marys will likely continue their late season push into that spot.

Predicted A-AA Girls Top 25
This one is tough. I believe that 3 different girls have held the top spot at some point
during the season...and in the end, I didn't pick any of them to win it. I ended up
going with Julia Muller for the win. She took down the whole group from behind at the
September night race at Midland and beat Christopher by 30 seconds at the Big 10 Championships.
I went with Hesson for 2nd. If there is one in this group who can kick with Muller, it's
likely Hesson, who used that kick to steal 2nd from Christopher last year. She also beat
Muller in the first two meets of the season. Christopher gets the nod for 3rd. She beat
Hesson at Midland, but Hesson got her back at Chick-Fil-A. O'Sullivan is slotted in 4th.
She's the top ranked runner at this point, but when she's faced these others, they've
beaten her. All 3 beat her soundly at Midland, along with a couple others. Then Hesson
and Christopher beat her again at Chick-Fil-A. She has dominated everything since then,
including a couple minute plus wins over Aubrie Custer. I put Belle Harvey in the 5th
spot. She beat Muller in the season opener at St. Marys, but was 30 seconds short of
Christopher at the Regional. I moved Baylee Adkins up into the 6th position with a
definite thought of moving her into 5th. She has come on strong late in the season
as she continues to figure things out. She was just 15 seconds off Hesson at the Regional.
I have Aubrie Custer in the 7th spot. She was just 11 seconds off Christopher at the
Belpre meet and just 13 off Harvey at Cameron. But she's been beaten by well over a
minute by O'Sullivan a couple times. I put Desirae Schoonover in the 8th spot. She's
ranked 6th, but Adkins has been running really well and Custer beat her soundly at Camp
Virgil Tate. Sydney Smith goes in the 9th position. Her only head-to-head with Schoonover
saw Schoonover come out on top by a few seconds. I put Natalie Sawin in the 10th
position. She's faced Smith twice with Smith taking both meetings. But it's a little
tricky, as she's faced Schoonover 4 times and beaten her twice and had a better time
at the LKC than Schoonover did at the Regional with things being ran on the same course.
