Following a dominant 2017 Cross Country season, Ripley's Tori Starcher has been named the 2017 Gatorade WV Cross Country Runner of the Year. Starcher went undefeated during the regular season and ran away with the State Championship. She followed that with a 2nd place finish at Footlocker South, making her just the 3rd West Virginia female to qualify for Nationals. Her season concluded with a 29th place finish at Footlocker Nationa in San Diego.
