Woodrow Wilson's Chris Barbera capped a dominant 2017 Cross Country season by being awarded the 2017 Gatorade WV Cross Country Runner of the Year. The 2017 season saw Barbera run away from the competition in nearly every meet, and he closed with a 16 second win at the State Cross Country Meet to settle any doubt anyone may have had.
