On Friday
afternoon, September 7th, 2018, WVU TECH will host the 3rd Annual Golden Bear
Classic in Beckley, WV at the Beckley-Stratton Course.
This year we
plan to add both Middle School & High School Races to the Program!
Being early in
the year, we will be competing in a "Short Course" format, with the
High Schools & Colleges racing 4,000 Meters, while the Middle School will
be going 2,000 Meters! We've sandwiched the collegiate race in between the
Middle School & High School Races, to allow your athletes & their
parents the opportunity to watch some of the best Small College Programs in our
Region! Already committed to participate in the College Race are,
Bluefield State College, Concord University, Davis & Elkins College,
Fairmont State University, Kentucky Christian, Marietta
College, Salem University, University of Charleston & WVU Tech!
Professional
timing & services will be provided by TSR Timing Group / TriState
