Predicted AAA Girls Team Results
All signs point to University. It's not a done deal but it looks like University has the advantage at every position. I have them with 3 individuals on the podium with a very reasonable possibility of getting 4. And that doesn't include one that was on the podium last year. Morgantown should be pretty solidly in the 2nd spot. Parkersburg could make a run at them with a really good day, but I do have 20 points between them. For another team to crack the top 3 will take a poor showing for Parkersburg or an absolute blowout meet from one of the others.

Predicted AAA Girls Top 25
This race will feature two of West Virginia's all-time best cross country runners. Tori Starcher and TaShala Turner have been turning in great performances all season long. We haven't been treated to a head-to-head matchup...until now. Turner had the top ranking for much of the season. Starcher took it over later and holds the top spot at the moment. I don't think Turner can run away from Starcher, and if it comes down to the finish on the track, the edge goes to Starcher. Starcher gets the nod. Hannah Lipps gets the nod for the 3rd spot. She always seems to put together a strong performance at State Meet events and did win the whole thing last year. However, Madison Trippett and Olivia Collett both beat her at the Adidas meet. Trippett had a late season injury that saw her miss the MSAC. It didn't seem to hinder her at the Regional meet, but I'm going to call it enough to have Lipps get by. That being said, if there is one in the field that might be able to make a move to get close to Starcher and Turner, it's Trippett. Collett beat Trippett at times during the season. I gave Hatcher the 6th spot over Zoe Shetty courtesy of taking 2 of the last 3 matchups. However, Shetty did win the Regional battle. I have Beighley Ayers in 8th, but she also beat Shetty at the OVAC meet. She could certainly move up the threaten a top 5 (and was 4th last year). I've slotted Isabella DiSaia into the 9th spot. She has beaten Ayers in 2 of their last 3 races, including the Regional. She has come on strong late in the season. I have Peyton Kukura in the 10th spot, but she was beaten at the Regional by Caroline Kirby and Avigail Radabaugh.
