Predicted A-AA Girls Team Results
Oh wow...this is new. I don't add up the scores as I go. I just pick the places for everyone and then add it up at the end. And we have a 3 way tie for first. I have Bridgeport, Winfield, and Berkeley Springs each coming through with 95 points. Bridgeport gets the top spot on the 6th runner with Winfield 2nd and Berkeley Springs 3rd. It gets better. I have Bridgeport's 6th runner just one spot ahead of Winfield's 6th runner. This is going to be a lot of fun. How fun? One of those 3 might not even be the winner. Philip Barbour gets a big time run from #4 and #5, and they're right in there as well. It's not entirely out of reach for Williamstown. I have both of those teams within 30 points of the top, which would take a lot, but isn't insurmountable. I have Williamstown in 5th overall, which would make them the top Class A team and the predicted Class A Team Champion.

Predicted A-AA Girls Top 25
Jessica Melvin has been pretty dominant this season and comes into the meet as the heavy favorite. Erykah Christopher is the one who has been the closest, so I gave her the nod for 2nd. Erin O'Sullivan is ranked 2nd by a pretty significant marging, so I slotter her 3rd. However, in the two meets that she has ran against a lot of competition, she's gotten knocked off by several that follow her here. I moved Ella Hesson up to the 4th spot based on her win over Desirae Schoonover at the LKC Championships. I moved McKenzie Moran up to 5th simply because I am afraid to place her lower than that. She is the defending champion after all. Last year, she only ran the Regional and the State Meet. This year, she has at least ran 3 meets already. She was within 10 seconds of Hesson at the Regional. I put Schoonover in the 6th spot. She's been consistently good all season. Kierra Hodge seems to have stepped forward a bit late in the season and is in the 7th spot. Julia Muller has the 8th position. She's been strong all season. I've put Madi Michels in the 9th spot. She beat Moran soundly at the George Washington Invitational, but she has battled some late season injury. If she's healthy, she's definitely a top 5 threat. If she's no better off than she was at the Regional, then she may fall outside the top 25. Savannah Hoff gets the 10th position. She's also been consistently strong all season. It's a strong field that goes pretty deep with potential podium placers.
