Now in our 14th year, the Tri-State Athletic Club is a USA Track & Field-member (USATF), volunteer, youth track & field/cross country club open to ANY ONE ages 6 & up regardless of experience and/or ability. Our mission is to help grow the sport of track & field/cross country by providing quality instruction and competitive opportunities in a challenging, but fun, environment. Our athletes have enjoyed success as Association and Regional champions, and medalists at both the USATF Youth Outdoor Championships and USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships. And in 2013 we produced our first NATIONAL CHAMPION!

Registration and practice for the Fall/Cross Country season will begin Monday, September 25th. During this season, we will practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We will primarily meet at Ritter Park near the NEW shelter, beginning as close to 5:30pm as possible and are usually finished around 7:00pm. Practices are not mandatory because we recognize that parents have their own obligations and our athletes frequently participate in multiple sports and activities. Practices are always intended to be efficient with emphasis on the development of proper technique, conditioning, strength, and race/competition preparation.

Please keep in mind that while our main emphasis during the fall is cross country, athletes wishing to start preparing for Indoor and Outdoor track are welcome as well. The champions of Spring and Summer are built during the Fall and Winter

As part of our commitment to keep opportunities accessible to everyone, our memberships are $100.00 per family member. An athlete’s membership is for good for one year from the season (cross county, indoor track, or outdoor) during which they join to allow families to do as much as they would like with us during that period. Memberships cover their USATF memberships and uniforms (theirs to keep) with all remaining funds going towards meet entry fees and club expenses.

We believe strongly that the point of athletics is to help build the total person. In striving and pushing for success for our athletes now, and in the future, we also work at teaching and equipping them for the challenges of life.
