The course is run entirely on trails and grass and is a combination of rolling hills and flat areas, which should provide for exciting races. The infamous “HEARTBREAK HILL” is a large part of the course’s popularity. The high school races will be 5,000 meters, the junior high/middle school races will be 3,000 meters, and the elementary races will be 1,800 meters. There will be a small admission fee for spectators. Changing facilities and restrooms will be on site. There will be a large area for school tents and parking. Hot and cold concessions will be available. The awards’ ceremony will be next to the start/finish area.

Entry fees for our meet are $50 per High School Varsity Team, $35 per Junior High/Middle School Team, $25 per Elementary Team. Cover all fee is $125 for all races, if determined this method is cheaper for your particular school. There is a $10 per runner fee for all other individuals. Please make checks payable to: Ashland Paul Blazer Cross Country and mail to Phillip Caudill-Head Cross Country Coach, 1600 Blackburn Ave. Ashland, KY 41102. The deadline is Sept. 10, 2017. No entries after the deadline. You must send a HYTEK roster file to enter the race. If you are unfamiliar with HYTEK please contact me for assistance.

• There will be unlimited runners per team allowed in all races.

4:30 Elementary Girls Race (5^th and Under) 1800 meters

4:45 Elementary Boys Race (5^th and Under)

5:10 Middle School Girls and Boys Race (8^th Grade and Under) 3K

5:45 VARSITY BOYS RACE 5K

6:20 VARSITY GIRLS RACE 5K
