Region AA/A and AAA

Location – 4-H Grounds in Mineral Wells, WV

Date – Thursday, October 19, 2017

Entries – Entries must be made by Sunday, October 15^th

You can enter up to 10 runners, though only 7 may actually race.

All entries should indicate grade level/class

Schedule: 3 PM: AAA Girls’ Race

3:45 PM: AAA Boys’ Race

4:15 PM: AAA Awards Ceremony

4:45 PM: AA/A Girls’ Race

5:30 PM: AA/A Boys’ Race

6 PM: AA/A Awards Ceremony

Coaches Packet – Packets will be available at the finish line upon arrival.

Admission Fee – Spectators will be charged a $6 entry fee.

T-Shirts – Regional T-Shirts will be sold near finish line of course.

Awards – Top 3 teams and top 10 individuals will receive plaques/medals.

State Meet Qualifying - 1-5 teams - 2 qualifying teams

6-9 teams - 3 qualifying teams

10 + teams - 4 qualifying teams 

* 5 team members must start the race to qualify as a team entry

20% of the number of contestants that START the race will qualify with a minimum of 10 individual qualifiers (.5 round up, less than .5 round down).

Parking – All parking will be across the street from the main entrance.

TO GET AS MANY INDIVIDUALS/TEAMS TO STATE, PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO HAVE 5 (HOPEFULLY 7) RUNNERS AT THE START LINE!!!!
