2017 Chick-fil-A Beckley Invitational

 

Dear Coaches,

 

Woodrow Wilson High School wishes to extend an invitation to your Middle and High School Cross Country Teams to participate in the 2017 Chick-fil-A Beckley Invitational.  The meet will be held on Saturday, August 26th , at the Beckley Cross Country Course at Pinecrest Industrial Park grounds adjacent Beckley Stratton Middle School. 

 

Race Times:           8:00 am Course Opens  (JV and Varsity run together, top 7 counts for team placing)

                                  9:30 am Middle School Girls 

10:00 am Middle School Boys  

10:30 am MS Awards

11:00 am High School Girls

11:45 am High School Boys

12:30 pm HS Awards

  

Entry Fees:          $ 50 per team/$ 90 for Boys and Girls team per school;     $ 10 per Individual

                                There will be a spectator fee.

Entries:                 Please register through www.racetimeentry.com  or email roster in Excel form to beckleycoach@yahoo.com    Computerized scoring will be used. 

Entry Fee and Entries must be received by 9pm, Tuesday, August 22t h.  

 

Awards:                Team Award for Champion and Runner-up for each race.

Individual Awards for top 20 runners in each race.

 

Course:                 Challenging course with rolling hills and woods. 

                                Mostly grass, with one asphalt crossing. 

                                Course is very spectator friendly.

 

Misc:                      Concessions and Invitational t-shirts will be available.

Restrooms will be at Beckley Stratton Middle.

 

Directions:           The course is located adjacent Beckley Stratton Middle School

From I-64 East, South of Beckley, Take Exit # 124. 

                                The Exit Ramp leads onto Joe L Smith Dr:

                                **Bus & Spectator Parking will be at BEST Middle:

Travel through 2 stop lights; take next LEFT onto Pinecrest #2.

                                                At stop sign, turn RIGHT.  Travel 3/10 mile to Beckley Stratton

Middle School entrance on the LEFT.   Parking Attendants will assist.

 

**Overflow Spectator parking: 

Travel through 2 stop lights; take next LEFT onto Pinecrest #2.

                                                Travel through stop sign, continue as road veers right (signs posted).

Parking Attendants will assist.
