Good Morning To All, 

St. Marys High School is excited that your teams will be participating in the Autumn Classic this Saturday.  Below are a few notes for coaches, athletes, and parents.  If you have any questions please call or email me before Saturday.

1) Location - The NEW St. Marys High School - Address - 2330 N Pleasants Hwy St. Marys, WV 2170.  The course is located just a few miles north of the metropolis that is also known as St. Marys.  

2) Course - spectators will NOT be allowed to go off of school grounds.  We will be making a loop out above the golf course and returning on the golf course which parents will NOT be allowed to go on to.  We will have people patrolling the area to be sure they don't cross.  The reasoning behind this is because of the housing development that is directly beside the school.  The loop is around 3/4 of a mile so parents that do actively support will see them come back quickly.  There will be coaches badges in your packets, these will allow you to head out to the trail if you would like - just be sure to cross where the coal mining belt will be across the road to be sure we don't enter or exit through anyone's grass.  Also, the HS/MS maps are attached to this email.  

3) Tent City - you will be allowed to place your tents in the outfield of the baseball fields which is directly beside the start and near the stadium where the race will finish.  There are two entrances into the baseball field, when being dropped off it is fine to use either one to carry items to location.

4) Parking - BUS Parking will be on the upper end of the parking lot below the baseball field and in front of the school, once this area fills up we will send you to the golf course parking lot.  General Parking will take place at the High School and MOVTI.  Once parking lots are full we will park cars in the grass around MOVTI.  Admission will be $5 per person.

5) Spikes - we will be finishing on the track, please talk to all your athletes and be sure they have no more than 1/4 inch spikes.  The ground is pretty solid, even if we get a little rain 1/4 inch spikes will be good for this weekend. Thanks for your cooperation.

6) 5K Fun Run - There will be a 5K open race at 10:20 that any individual is allowed to participate in.  Be a good opportunity for any athlete who doesn't have the exact amount of practices in.  Top 5 Males/Females will get an award.  Race is free.

7) Concessions - Concessions will be sold at the stadium

8) T-Shirts - Creightons will be on site selling t shirts at the stadium

9) Entries - Currently we have 597 athletes registered for the races this weekend; 24 High School Teams and 17 Middle School Teams...  234 High School Boys, 122 Middle School Boys, 124 High School Girls, and 153 Middle School Girls.

10) Race Times - HS Girls - 9:00, HS Boys - 9:40, Open Race - 10:20, MS Girls - 11:00, MS Boys - 11:30
