2016 LKC Cross Country Meet Information

Cross Country Coaches,

We are excited to host the High School LKC Meet for the 2016 season.

Date: Thursday, October 13, 2016

Location: Cokeley Recreation Area at North Bend State Park

Hosted by RITCHIE COUNTY Cross Country Teams

Schedule:            

5:00 PM   Varsity Boys Race

5:45 PM   Varsity Girls Race

6:30 PM   Awards Ceremony

Awards:

Awards will be given near the start/finish line following the last race.

Teams:

1^st will receive plaque at LKC Banquet

2^nd will receive plaque at the meet

Individuals: 

1-12: 1^st Team All-Conference Medals

13-24: 2^nd Team All-conference Medals

Location: The course is located in Cokeley Recreation Area at North Bend State Park on the Harrisville side of the park. The course is viewer friendly and almost entirely a grass surface. We will have exclusive use of the bathhouse facilities at the campground including restrooms and showers.

Directions:

We STRONGLY recommend using the Ellenboro exit from RT 50 and follow the signs to North Bend. For teams coming from the Parkersburg direction the Cairo exit will be a very unpleasant trip to the course especially on a bus. The entrance to Cokeley Recreation Area is 6.7 miles from US Rt 50 and approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection of Rt 16 & Rt 31 in Harrisville.

Meet Information: There will be a general admission fee for spectators. We will have spotters in all areas to help runners, as well as an athletic trainer available. We will be selling meet t-shirts (available beside of restrooms / awards area) and there will be a concession stand. We will be using computer scoring.

Miscellaneous:

We are accepting entries via RaceTimeEntry.com to register.
The deadline for entry is Monday, October 10, 2016.

T-shirts will be available on-site near the start of the race. There will be a small concession stand at this meet.
