Additional Information on the Doddridge Invitational CC Meet

1) We are asking that for the meet on Tuesday that the HS & MS runners from all schools use the Dressing Rooms at the Swimming Pool to change clothes or use the restroom. The actual pool area will be locked, though, for safety reasons. Parents and other fans are asked to use the regular restrooms that are on the lower side of the main building or the restrooms by the counsel circle, which includes a family restroom. Coaches may use any of the restrooms.

2) We have made a few substantive changes to both courses for this year. The high school runners will now run a short loop in the field across the creek before they go up "Big Bertha". This change will make it so the runners do not have to run up the hill behind the old one room school. Also, after they go around the gas well and head to tennis court hill, they will not go on up the sidewalk as in the past, but will go up the grassy hill and run behind the tennis courts instead of in front of them. This hill is a bit steeper, but will keep runners and fans safer by keeping the runners away from the fans. This also takes the hill above the old school out of play! The main change with the middle school course will be a short trip across the new bridge and a loop that includes part of "Tree Line Hill" and a loop around the gas well, but no loop around the barn, which had become a safety issue. All races will start on the top and will finish coming straight down the field on top on the other side of the field from the stage.
