Welcome to the 2016 “Doddridge County Middle School Invitational”. We are glad that you are here. Listed below are a few notes for you to consider:

1) A reminder: We have four races today: 4:00 – Varsity Boys, 4:30 – Varsity Girls, 5:00 – JV Boys, 5:30 - JV Girls

2) Enclosed in your packets are two course maps and numbers for your runners. Please check for accuracy and make sure that each runner gets the number with their name on it.

3) We most likely will have results available after the meet, but if not, results will be posted on the runwv website as soon as possible.

4) If you have any problems or questions please let us know (Craig Kellar, Lynne Kelley, Brent Cottrill or Josh Weekley). We want this meet to be a good experience for everyone. We encourage your input to improve this meet.

5) Awards: Trophies for varsity teams placing 1-5, Trophies for varsity runners placing 1-20, and Medals for JV runners placing 1-15. Awards will be presented on the stage at the conclusion of the meet.

6) T-shirts & Hoodies will be on sale!

7) Please remind your runners to complete the entire course and finish chute. We are computerized with tear tag numbers. It is imperative that your runners complete the entire finish chute and come out the opposite end from where they went in. Please instruct your runners to not pass in the finish chute.

8) Athletes are asked to use the swimming pool dressing rooms to change clothes and/or use the restroom. There are also restrooms located on the side of the main building and in the small building past the stage near the “counsel circle” for everyone else.

9) There will be no coaches’ meeting. If you have questions just let us know.

10) The course is marked with white directional arrows and is flagged throughout on each side of the course. The total course distance is between 2.1 and 2.2 miles.

11) As of Sunday night we have 37 schools and 888 runners entered into our computer.
