Updates for the Charles Pointe - Indian Run Invitational

1. We will be featuring a completely redesigned course this year. The large hill will be significantly softened and only used once in the course, providing a faster course.

2. We will be separating the high school AAA and AA/A into different races. We will also have a separate JV race for the Middle School teams.

3. We are moving our awards ceremonies to an area next to tent city and we hope to have live bands and performers between awards ceremonies for the different groups.

4. The first annual College Coaches Corner will be located next to the baseball fields. This area will be for college coaches to set up tents/tables where they can meet and greet the athletes, parents and scholastic coaches to discuss their schools and programs, do a little recruiting (within NCAA guidelines, of course) and distribute information and handouts on their camps and programs. We already have tentative commitments from the following college coaches who plan to attend:

Kaylyn Christopher - Fairmont State University

Nick Bias - University of Charleston

Caleb Bowen - Marshall University

Jesse Skiles - West Virginia Wesleyan College

Jason Pyles - Davis & Elkins College

Jesse Weiner - Alderson Broaddus University

Earl Graves - Alderson Broaddus University

Ricky Moore - Wheeling Jesuit University

High School and Middle School coaches, we want you to be a part of this as well by bringing your teams to the meet and giving your athletes, their parents and yourselves an opportunity to see and be seen by so many great XC coaches all in one place. This is a unique opportunity for them and you...don't miss out.
