Buckhannon-Upshur High School Cross Country Course

(Course is to the left of the school parking lot.)

SCHEDULE

8:00-10:00 Tour the course

10:00 Coaches meeting

10:15 Boys’ Race

11:00 Girls’ Race

12:00 Awards (Bleachers in the stadium.) Awards: Individual 1-20. Coaches of the year. Team Champions

Tents: Set up tents on left side, on top of the hill. Area marked. Restrooms and concessions: Inside the football stadium.

“T” shirts: Short sleeve and long sleeve. (Seniors listed on the back.) Coaches: Pick up your packets at the stadium ticket office and draw your box number. Race results will be provided at the awards ceremony.

Admission - $5 a car

Parking: All parking will be in the stadium parking lot (left of school.) Buses will park at the scoreboard end of the stadium lot.

Course: The course is well marked in the open field and is viewer friendly. Only coaches will be permitted to go beyond the practice soccer field. Spectators are not to be on the course during races. A four wheeler will lead the runners and one will follow the last runner.
