Ashland Invitational 
On behalf of Ashland Paul Blazer High School, we are extending an invitation for your school to be a part of the 14th annual Ashland Invitational on October 4, 2016.
The course is run entirely on trails and grass and is a combination
of rolling hills and flat areas, which should provide for exciting races. The infamous “HEARTBREAK HILL” is a large
part of the course’s popularity. The high school races will be 5000 meters, the
junior high/middle school races will be 3000 meters, and the elementary races
will be 1200 meters and 1800 meters.
There will be a small admission fee for spectators. Changing facilities and restrooms will be on
site. There will be a large area for school
tents and parking. In the event of
inclement weather, various buildings are available for cover for participants
as well as spectators. Exclusive Ashland
Invitational T-shirts will be on sale.
Hot and cold concessions will be available. The awards’ ceremony will be next to the
start/finish area.
Entry fees for our meet are $50 per High School Varsity Team, $35 per Junior
High/Middle School Team, $25 per Elementary Team. There is a $10 per runner fee for all other
individuals. There will be a $125 per school maximum fee regardless of the number of
teams entered. Please make checks
