CHAMPIONSHIPS

Teams: Buckhannon-Upshur, Elkins, Hampshire, Hedgesville, Jefferson, Lewis County, Martinsburg, Musselman, Spring Mills, & Washington.

Location: Davis & Elkins College Athletic Fields, Elkins, WV

Date: Thursday, October 22^nd, 2015

Event Times: Varsity Girls – 1:30pm                    Varsity Boys – 2:15pm

                        Awards Ceremony – 3:00pm

Course Description: 5000 meters, open fields, woodland trails, two stream

crossings, variety of hills.

T-Shirts: Long sleeve ($15) & short sleeve ($12)                                                    

Coaches Packet: These will be available at the meet site on arrival. They will

contain meet directions, course maps, and scoring materials.

                             Scoring will be done on Hy-tek.

Admission Fee: Coaches and athletes are free; $7 students & $8 adults.

Team Tents: A designated area will be provided for team tents.

Awards: First place team will receive a plaque and top ten boys and girls medals.

Qualifying: 1-5 teams = 2 qualifiers, 6-9 teams = 3 qualifiers, 10 + teams = 4 qualifiers 20% of the number of contestants that START the race will qualify with a minimum of 10 individual qualifiers (.5 round up, less than .5 round down).

**COACHES PLEASE GET 5 RUNNERS ON THE LINE, 7 IF YOU CAN!

Entry Deadline: Friday, October 16^th.  Reminder coaches you can enter up to 10 athletes to the regional meet. All entries must be completed on racetimeentry.
